ESPN insider Brian Windhorst shared his opinion on the Lakers` future actions in the market.
The California club mentioned by partners of top football picks traded forward Rui Hachimura from the Wizards this week.
I think they will remain active and look at options for defenders and try to improve the back line, primarily exploring options with Patrick Beverley.
The Lakers would be more likely to try to bolster their backcourt by trading Beverley rather than making a major trade. This option is more likely. Patrick has an expiring contract, they will try to find someone with a longer agreement. Trading Hachimura shows that the team is not looking to clear cap space in time for the offseason as he becomes a restricted free agent.
Other people could be involved, possibly Lonnie Walker, Windhorst said.
