In Sunderland they start clean

The American businessman Ellis Short agreed to sell the English football club Sunderland, and his last action as owner was to sack manager Chris Coleman. The Northerners have been relegated for the second consecutive year and will play next season in League 1, the third level of English football. Sunderland won only five games out of 29 under Colman, who replaced Simon Grayson in November. The 47-year-old brought Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, but subsequently decided to continue his coaching career at the club level. Shortly after Coleman`s release of the club adviced by blog of football tips announced that they had reached a deal on property ownership with an international consortium of investors headed by the president of the amateur FC Eastland Stewart Donald.
