Cagliari striker is punished for six months for doping

Cagliari striker Joao Pedro will be suspended for six months after he was caught using a forbidden substance. Joao Pedro has already suffered the punishment since he is in the process of being investigated since March 3 and has no right to play.

The doping control of the Italian Football Federation has found the presence of diuretic hydrochlorothiazide, the sample being given on February 11 after the match mentioned by football livescores with Sassuolo, who finished 0-0. At one point, it turned out that the grace period of the penalty had passed and he returned to the pitch on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina as a guest.

He sensed the omission in the proceedings, the Disciplinary Commission summoned him on Wednesday`s interrogation, where he explained that, of course, it had nothing to do with the admission of the substance. Falling into his body he exp lains with a mistake to doctors when giving pills for recovery.

After listening to it, the Commission set a deadline for the return of the site in September this year. The Brazilian signed a new contract with Cagliari earlier this season, but the year is not good for him. In addition to the doping penalty, he has several yellow cards for simulation, and in December at the other meeting with Fiorentina hit a rival without a ball.

Otherwise, Cagliari is at a point in the ring before the end of the Serie A Championship.
